(2)   When you create your account, only you are allowed to use it.  You are responsible for all activity on your accounts.  If friends or relatives wish to use the system, they must create their own account. No account may be sold or given away by any users without sysop consultation, inactive accounts may be stripped of limited items and accounts with no access may be sold by the sysop if some months have past and the owner can't be contacted/is no longer playing.

(3)   Offensive language is to be kept to a minimum when chatting. I don't mind swearing occasionally as I may do it but any personal verbal attacks on other users will not be tolerated!

(4)   Failure to provide accurate details when signing-up will result in the possibility that your account will be DELETED without notice!

(5)   You can only email other system users and email attachments must be kept to a size no greater than 1MB.

(6)   Any abuse of any bugs in WorldGroup, MajorMUD, or Megamud will not be tolerated so you and you alone are accountable for your Megamud settings!

(7)   If the BBS is down for any reason, longer than a day your account will be credited with the number of days downtime in access. If the downtime is less than a day and is out of my control (i.e. ISP problem) or is part of a regular maintenance routine you will not be credited extra access.

(8)   AFK Scripting 24/7 is allowed, and there is NO script killing/hanging allowed without exception. (This includes deliberately stacking rooms to hang someone's script)

(9)   PvP is set to +/-5 levels, We have a non-pvp gang -=DaRk MaJiK=-.

If you leave the gang with the intent to PvP you will not be allowed back into it for a cooling off period of 1-2 weeks after you stop pvp this also applies if you weren't in the gang to start with but you want to join after you've engaged in pvp.
Attacking anyone who is scripting is not allowed. Someone can be at keys and still be scripting, as a script is defined as an automated program which repeats a sequence of movements over and over.
Outside of scripting the members of the non-pvp gang cannot be attacked in any shape or form and anyone in the non-pvp gang cannot engage in pvp.
Dragging monsters in a particular area of majormud to deliberately hang someone's script is not allowed.


(10)   Hording any items, limited or otherwise, if you can't use them or are doing it so someone else can't use them is not on!
This includes storing items on inactive characters, as well as hording items in ganghouses. Also any one person may not have duplicate limited items across their characters (ie, a lionskin tunic on 2 characters owned by the same person).
Flushing items taken from another player which you have no intent on using yourself will not be tolerated.

(11)   No death pile raiding of any player is allowed, unless you directly PvP'ed them. (If you hang someone's script and they drop items due to hang-up penalties you can't touch them as you have broken Rule 8)

(12)   None of my accounts have sysop powers only the SYSOP and MonsterBOT accounts do!
MonsterBOT command are to be used at your own risk.
I WILL NOT change users alignment in the direction (Evil --> Good) as there is no quick way of doing this (i.e. attacking NPC) so it is cheating. Retrains are available occasionally for good reason!
JaYeLL our MudOp has sys goto and sys map keys as well as some other mudop commands for the purpose of rescuing and helping users in the realm.

(13)   All "User" accounts are mine and they are all variations of names because a couple of my characters were given to me by friends that used to play when the mud was run by ACE Internet and we had to use our real names as account ID's. The Sysopman and CousinIT characters are storage characters from long ago and they have keys and other del@maintenance items on them which users are welcome to have if they need them =]

Rule Clarifications

If you're in the non-pvp gang and you enter someone else's scripting area and get hit with their room spells and are in their range it is not their fault, because you can't use your membership of the non-pvp gang to force others to break the rules or move from that scripting spot.

If you're in the non-pvp gang and you've been scripting an area for a while and someone in your range starts scripting over you and hits you with room spells it is their fault.
